£25,000 damages for pedestrian hit by car

In October 2020, our client was crossing the road pushing their bike when they were hit by a car coming at speed along the road. This caused them to sustain facial injuries, broken and dislocated toes and back pain. Psychological injuries were also sustained. A Letter of Claim was sent, and liability was promptly admitted by the Defendant’s insurers.

Our client’s claim settled for the sum of £25,000.

Raphaelle Davies, Litigation Executive here at Girlings Personal Injury Claims had conduct of the claim. Our client commented as follow on the service provided:

“I would be only too happy for you to write something that can sum up the faultless manner in which you have both supported and guided me through this process and made yourself available throughout…I am very pleased, and relieved that I found Girlings and particularly yourself, you have helped make this last eight months or so easy by far, allowing me to concentrate on my physical and mental recovery, which has really meant a lot to me. So a big thank you to you for your professionalism and very human approach. Thank you.”
