Our client was injured when he fell from the back of a quad bike, sustaining a serious brain injury. The quad-bike was designed for use by just one person.
The claim was against the employers of the quad bike rider, on the basis that they were aware that their employees were carrying passengers, even though this was unsafe.
Our client’s brain injury affected his mobility, and it is anticipated that he will never be able to return to work. His injuries also make it necessary for him to be provided with care.
The full value of the claim was agreed at £6,750,000, with a deduction being made from this figure to take account of the fact that our client had agreed to be a passenger on the quad bike.
