On 1st October, our managing director, Jonathan Pidduck, celebrated his 40th work anniversary, having a celebration lunch with the Girlings Personal Injury team at Luigi’s in Sandwich.
Jonathan started his legal career in Ramsgate in 1984. Since then, he has spent 14 years at a Margate practice from 1986 and 7 years with a solicitors’ firm in Folkestone from 2000. In 2007, he moved to Girlings, becoming a director in Girlings Personal Injury Claims a few years later.
Jonathan has specialised in accident claims from an early stage in his career, and now spends most of his time at work acting for clients who have suffered life-changing brain injuries. He says that the most rewarding part of the job is being involved in helping to sort out the treatment and support which many of his clients need after sustaining traumatic brain injury.
At the lunch, though, he admitted that his focus had temporarily switched to his tiramisu, if only for an hour or so!!
