A six-figure sum for client after electrocution on a construction site

Our Managing Director, Jonathan Pidduck, has recently helped a client recover a six-figure sum in compensation for an accident which took place on a construction site. Our client was electrocuted after his employer failed to ensure that wiring was not live, sustaining PTSD, anxiety, and depression as a result. This was severe enough to lead him to losing his job and to become homeless. We were able to obtain an omission of liability from the employer along with interim payments (money “upfront” whilst the claim was continuing).

For much of the claim, the insurance company was only offering a very modest amount of compensation, but in view of the arguments put forward on his behalf our client ended up receiving a six-figure sum to compensate him for his injuries, loss of earnings and out of pocket expenses.
