Brian Cowell

Partner

Brian is a Partner at Girlings Personal Injury Claims, dealing with clinical negligence claims. He joined Girlings in September 2000 as an executive in the claimant Personal Injury department. Prior to this, he enjoyed a successful ten year career in the insurance industry, working for syndicates of Lloyds of London, principally dealing with accident and injury claims.

In 2009, Brian became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. This qualification, together with his broad experience of personal injury work enables him to offer a very high level of specialist service.

Brian is very experienced in dealing with a wide range of claims for damages, including orthopaedic injury claims, faulty hip replacements, psychological injuries and has also frequently been involved in arranging rehabilitation treatment. He is a partner and trusted pair of hands in our expanding clinical negligence team, and now exclusively takes on claims relating to medical negligence.
